Neudorf Paint and Body is seeking to add a team member to our growing Paint and Body shop.
In this position, you will repair collision, weather, and other damage to the body and frame of
light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles as well as restorative classic vehicles. We would also
be willing to train the right candidate.
The technician must have the ability to communicate to the customer the scope and reason
for the needed repairs in a respectful manner. May also need to communicate with insurance
representatives, other staff members, and the Body Shop Manager. The technician may be
required to meet with potential customers and write repair estimates, and keep the Manager
updated on progress or necessary changes to the initial repair plan.
The technician needs to possess a basic understanding of vehicle construction methods,
types of materials used, corresponding materials required to successfully repair collision or
other damage to pre-collision condition or better.
The technician should be skilled in the proper repair of common automotive materials,
(steel, aluminum, plastic, fiberglass). Technician also needs to possess an understanding of
refinishing techniques and products. Along with body and paint repair, the technician would
perform basic mechanical repair procedures related to the crash: A/C, alignment, diagnostic
scanning, and reprogramming.
The technician should have their own basic tools required to complete vehicle repairs.
The technician needs to be computer literate and possess the ability to quickly learn to competently
utilize various industry software(s).
