Bird Watch in Dog Canyon

Whether you are an experienced birder, wanting to learn about birding, or interested in sitting quietly and watching the birds, the Oliver Lee Memorial State Park Birding Program is for you.  Bring binoculars if you have them, drinking water, and comfortable clothes.  Bird Checklists and guides will be provided.  The morning will begin with a brief overview of birding then a quick walk down the Riparian Nature Trail to sit on the ground or a large boulder to listen and look for New Mexico's Winter and Year Long feathered friends.
