Event Description:
Oliver Lee Memorial State Park invites you to become a founder in the establishment of the Oliver Lee Memorial State Park "Friends Group."  A Friends Group is a support group that can raise funds for the park in ways the state cannot.  The Friends' are not subject to the same rigorous rules as the state and can significantly help the park in these challenging financial times.  In addition to financial assistance, Friends can provide volunteer assistance as needed, plan and host special events and serve as ambassadors for the park.  If you love the outdoors and southern New Mexico history come join us and see what it's all about.  You'll meet people with similar interests.  We have a lot of fun!
