DWI-Prevention Specialist

OTERO COUNTY DWI DEPARTMENT, Alamogordo, New Mexico is recruiting for a DWI Prevention Specialist.
 
Employment Status: Full-Time – Contract – At-will
Experience Required: Two (2) years of experience in the judiciary, criminal justice, law enforcement, or probation field.
Minimum Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.
 
 

Job Summary: To plan, develop and implement program activities designed to prevent or reduce the incidence of DWI, alcoholism and alcohol and other drug abuse in Otero County
 
 

Skills

• Strong written and oral communications and relational skills.
• Public relations and customer service.
• Follow and relay complex oral and written instructions, policies, and procedures.
• Operate a variety of office equipment, including computer terminal, related software programs, printer, calculator, fax, and copier.

 
Abilities

• Work with teenagers and adults.
• Utilize Organizational skills.
• Properly operate or be willing to learn to operate all multimedia equipment including current technology.

Salary: $37,000 - $44,200 DOE plus benefit package.
