Monday, February 27, 2023 - Alamogordo, NM – Alamogordo Public School District

Please be aware, due to the high winds on Sunday, February, 26th Chaparral Middle School (CMS) sustained roof damage in several places. Roofers are onsite and Alamogordo Public Schools is working with the structural engineer to assess the damage. Out of an abundance of caution, CMS will engage in remote learning for the rest of this week.

If your student left their Chromebook in the classroom, staff will be available to retrieve those for pickup on Tuesday morning between the hours of 7:00 am and 10:00 am. If you need to make special arrangements, please email one of your student’s core teachers. Band/orchestra instruments will also be available for pickup during the Tuesday morning hours. For Chromebook pickup, please come to the main entrance, for band/orchestra instrument pick-up, please come to the band building east entrance.
